So animated!
The live action translation of the cartoon classic was fantastic, staying true to the original film with some of the most memorable scenes reenacted verbatim. The performance takes the opportunity to joke from time to time about how different this experience is from the movie, which was good enough for me; a bonus. The characters, especially Timon and Pumbaa, are captured spot on. It was cool to see the entire theatre used as opposed to just the stage area. Make sure you use the bathroom beforehand or you might not be able to get back in without disturbing the performers. Even though the production was phenomenal, the show isn't the best musical I've seen (it ain't no 'Wicked'). Overall, it's an experience that you literally get into.
